To meet customer’s expectations, we issued four product releases of Revolution in 2019, which introduced 30 major features along with minor bug fixes and enhancements. We grew our reseller network by adding 53 new channel partners and five new Certified Endpoint Partners to our third-party hardware ecosystem. In addition, we were proud to see two global product launches come to fruition with our OEM partners. All of these efforts contributed to a 405% YoY growth in revenue.

In case you missed it – A look back at Revolution in 2019
Here’s a look at some of the top features we added to Revolution in 2019.2019.1
Status Activator
Revolution customers can now monitor system status by triggering a notification using Revolution’s new Status Activator! This allows you to alert personnel when service interruptions occur, your Revolution license is close to capacity or due to expire soon, as well as get alerts when the system recognizes endpoint inactivity.Support for Chromebooks & Chrome Boxes
Send notifications directly to your Chromebooks* and Chromebox* users using the Revolution Mobile Android app. Chromebook users can even receive alerts when they’re located off-premise!Third-Party Application Triggers
Customers can now connect software applications from supported third-party vendors to their on-premise Revolution server through our new secure cloud platform. This gives customers complete control over which third-party systems are allowed to securely activate Revolution notifications.Click here to view the full 2019.1 release notes.
2019.2
Dial Monitoring for Cisco
In this release, we extended dial monitoring support to our Cisco customers! This means customers who are already using Syn-Apps’ CallAlert software will now have similar functionality available in Revolution. What’s Dial Monitoring? When a number matching your filter criteria is dialed, it triggers a notification and sends an alert to designated personnel. This feature is particularly useful for monitoring emergency 911 calls (or other specified numbers). Dial Monitoring can trigger a notification that includes the dialer’s caller ID, the date and time that the call was placed, along with a brief message to help reduce response time in the event of an emergency and streamline business processes.Activation and Deactivation Enhancements
Users can now activate and deactivate notifications from different sources, giving users more flexibility to create notifications that meet your day-to-day needs. For example, you can start a continuous notification from a phone call and cancel the notification from their Revolution mobile app.Click here to view the full 2019.2 release notes.
2019.3
Scheduler Enhancements
Setting up a calendar schedule just got easier with two new features: Day Templates & Day Copy! Users can create Day Templates to automatically create events. In addition, users can create multiple day templates and apply them to the appropriate schedule days. To do so, simply right-click on a day of events and select Copy Day to copy all of that day’s events to another day on the same or different calendar. Users can also delete an entire day of events.Auto-Conference
Revolution Conference notifications allow users to create a conference that automatically joins predefined users, and allows additional users to be added in on-the-fly. Conference notifications are triggered by dialing an assigned SIP line number.Answer Notifications
Broadcast a message to multiple IP phones and speakers requesting for an answer. Once a recipient presses the “Accept” soft-key on a phone, all other endpoints are dropped from the notification leaving, the caller (notification initiator) and recipient in two-way communication.Click here to view the full 2019.3 release notes.
2019.4
Active Directory Sync
Revolution automatically updates Contacts and Users imported from Active Directory on a timed schedule. This allows system admins to spend less time updating their servers and more time addressing situations at-hand — giving you peace of mind knowing your recipient’s contact information is kept up-to-date.Scheduling Wizard
We’ve enhanced Revolution’s Scheduler. In this release, customers can create an entire event schedule using the wizard tool. Setting up your school bells, shift schedules, and other repeating alerts can now be configured to repeat a pattern of day templates on a weekly or multi-weekly pattern. You can also specify ranges of time that you’d like to pause your scheduled events (which is useful for holiday breaks in your organization).Email Activator
Revolution’s Email Activator allows you to trigger notifications based on keywords or other filter criteria received to individual mailboxes. Email Activator supports Microsoft Exchange and the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP). You can set up filters to only trigger notifications based on certain criteria – to or from a particular email account, subject, or keyword matches in the body of the email. Email Activator also supports regular expressions for more complicated filters.Click here to view the full 2019.4 release notes.
