What are Building Floor Plans and How are They Used in Revolution?
Building Floor Plans enable users to view their endpoints (devices) more accurately on a visual map within the Revolution UI, making it easier for your team to respond in an emergency.
How Does This Feature Work?
Authorized users can upload their building floor plans into Revolution to define endpoint locations, create areas, and send notifications from the endpoints map on the dashboard page.
For example, you can find your office location on the endpoints map and place the exact floor plan of your building. Your floor plan can show the entry and exit points, the number of floors in your building, offices, hallways, staircases, and bathrooms you have on the interior. You can also resize the floor plan to the exact shape and size of your building making it bigger, smaller, wider, or rotated.
Floor plans bring added value and assurance to your Reovlution Dashboard because they display your endpoints clearly on a map and allow users to see exactly where each endpoint is located within the facility.
